The Jahreslosung, or the Motto of the Year, is a Bible passage that is supposed to encourage and aid people to read and experience the Bible.
It can guide and influence one’s outlook on the year.
This year’s motto for us is from the first letter to the Thessalonians:
Test everything; hold fast to what is good.
